So whats next

Life, we never fully understand things until we can look back on them in the past tense, its so funny as an eight year old boy you never realize that day your destiny is chosen for you. I always reflect back to that day my dad looking down at me telling me we are going to replace the clutch, it was a yellow 76 VW bus, the clutch slipped and I remember when we went up a hill he would say everyone lean forward. Well much has happened and much has changed since that day and seems like a lot of…See More

I am very good friends with the "Vinman", Vincent Liska out of New Jersey. He is one of the Shelby registrar's for SAAC. Have you ever seen the Shelby Registry? He puts all that info together. This year will be new registries since 1997. I think he said there will be about 4 books because of all the new history he has collected on the Shelby's. The point is there is a lot of fraud on the Shelby's, especially models 1968-1970. You probably already know this but Shelby model's prior to 1968 had a Ford VIN and a Shelby VIN. Two different numbers. In 1968 Ford changed that. The Shelby VIN and the Ford VIN were the same number except for the Shelby production number at the end of the VIN.  To obtain a Marti report for Shelby models prior to 1968, you have to furnish Kevin with both numbers. There are people out there who are stealing VIN's from the Shelby Registry for models 1968-1970 when the owners are unknown. What these people do not know is there is information SAAC has that hasn't been published. The point is when I get ready to buy a Shelby, I need to use the Vinman just to make sure the car is authentic. I appreciate your offer.

Additionally, I'm sorry about your Anaconda project going down the tubes. Mustang 1 told me the Python sold. They had all the Python build pictures on their website. I guess you probably were in some of those pictures. Were you with Gene Winfield during the paint job? What Compton's previous employer indicated from his lawsuit and he's an attorney, I think you are right, Compton was your problem.

Take Care!
